This buckwheat pasta, made from the buckwheat flour and water of Minakami in Gunma Prefecture, is a pasta with a new sensation. It features the strong scent and flavor of kneaded buckwheat flour and the soft texture of fresh pasta.

Buckwheat has high nutritional value, being rich in dietary fiber, rutin and vitamin B, and is becoming noticed as a health food ingredient. This pasta was made with the hope that Minakami buckwheat could be experienced by people around the world. By grinding the wheat to its husk, flavorsome noodles with a discernible buckwheat taste have been realized.

This buckwheat pasta does not use food additives or preservatives, and is ready to eat after just 4 minutes of cooking. Japanese-style sauce has proved a popular topping, but it is also a pleasure to discover your own way of eating it with the topping of your liking.
